Taco Bell’s Cinnamon Twists and Cinnabon Delights are making room for a new sweet treat joining the dessert lineup.

The fast food chain has partnered with New York-based dessert company Milk Bar to launch new Birthday Cake Churros. These treats feature crispy churros filled with birthday cake frosting and topped with pink confetti sprinkles, Taco Bell said in a news release.

Starting Thursday, customers can now purchase one of these churros for $1.99 or a pack of two for $2.99. The treats are available nationwide only for a limited time, the chain said.

“We love partnerships that play with form and flavor, which is exactly what we’ve done with this extra-celebratory take on the churro,” Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer Liz Matthews said in the news release. “A visit to Taco Bell isn’t complete without savoring the sweets, and this special little treat captures the sweet, nostalgic birthday cake flavors.”

Taco Bell and Milk Bar previously partnered in the summer of 2022 to launch the Strawberry Bell Truffle, a sweet cake truffle accompanied by pieces of crunchy taco shell.

Recently, the chain temporarily brought back the Caramel Apple Empanada for a limited time as part of last year’s Decades Menu.

Has Taco Bell ever had churros?

Taco Bell previously experimented with temporary churro-themed items from Churro Twists to Churro Donuts.

In late 2023, the Mexican cuisine inspired chain taste tasted Churro Chillers drink at two Southern California restaurants.

This blended sweet shake included churro crumbles and a layer of cold foam. Served in a 16 oz cup, the beverage came in four different flavors including Mexican Chocolate, Wild Strawberry, Sweet Vanilla flavors and Dulce de Leche Coffee.

What desserts does Taco Bell have?

In addition to the birthday cake churros, Taco Bell’s dessert menu also features long time favorites the Cinnamon Twists and Cinnabon Delights.

The company also recently launched the Baja Blast Dream Freeze and the Baja Blast Strawberry Dream Freeze, that combine the iconic Mountain Dew slushy with swirl of vanilla crème.
